Must the salary offered be public or can it be confidential?

Salary transparency is core to Get on Board’s marketplace, but subscribers can choose to hide it publicly. Here’s how confidentiality works and how to enter salary ranges correctly.

Salary requirements

All published full-time jobs (and internships) must include a salary range. Part-time and freelance roles do not require salary fields.

Public vs confidential salary

Hiding the salary range from public views is available only with a subscription plan. Applicants still see the salary range during the application flow, and your team always sees it in the posting.

To confirm the salary is hidden, open the job URL in an incognito window.

Gross salary in USD

Get on Board uses gross salary (before legal deductions) in USD. If you edit a job created before October 2022, you will be prompted to confirm the gross salary range.

Monthly or annual salary

You can enter the range as gross monthly or gross annual salary.

  • Gross monthly: enter the salary range and save.
  • Gross annual: enter the annual base salary and optional extra compensation (bonuses or non-monetary benefits). You can choose to display the annual or monthly amount and specify how many salaries make up the annual compensation.
