How do I know if the company is checking the applications for their job?

If you applied to a job on Get on Board as a professional, you can check activity by reviewing your application status and the signals shown on the job posting.

Check the read status of your application

Open your Applications list. When a company opens your application, you will see a Seen by status. If it still shows Sent, the company has not opened it yet.

This is not a guarantee of a response, but it is the closest indicator of whether someone has viewed your application.

Check activity in the job posting

When you open a job, you may see signals such as the number of applications, an estimated response time, or a Responds quickly label. These indicators appear only when there is enough information available and may not show for every job.

If you already applied and have not received updates, you can send a message to the company from your application when messaging is available.

How long does it take to hear back?

Each recruitment process is different, so there is no single timeframe for getting an answer. If you need updates, send a message from your application when messaging is available.
