Effective June 1, 2020, purchases made with credit cards issued in Chile include an additional 19% VAT when buying on Get on Board. This VAT is collected by us and paid to the Chilean Internal Tax Service (SII), as required by Chilean law.
If your company is a VAT taxpayer in Chile, you can declare it during checkout or by updating your company profile in the “Tax and invoicing info” section. VAT taxpayers are required to pay VAT on their own purchases, so Get on Board does not charge the additional 19% VAT when you mark that status.
