How do I control whether companies can find me in the Talent Database?

On Get on Board, if you are a professional, you control how visible your profile is to companies and whether they can invite you to apply.

The three visibility controls

  1. Public profile page Turn this on only if you want a public profile URL that anyone can view. If you turn it off, your public profile page stays hidden.

  2. Visible to companies (Talent Database) When this is on, your profile can appear in Talent Database searches and companies can invite you to apply. If you turn it off, your profile will not show in Talent Database, but companies you already applied to can still see your application in their process.

  3. Notify me of new jobs This setting controls job alerts based on your preferences. When it is on, you receive email digests and may receive invitations to apply that match those preferences.

How they work together

  • Public profile controls whether anyone can view your public profile URL.
  • Talent Database controls whether recruiters can find you in searches.
  • Job alerts controls whether you receive notifications and invitations.

When to review these settings

  • Turn visibility on if you want companies to discover your profile faster.
  • Turn visibility off if you prefer to browse jobs privately.
