What happens after I apply for a job on Get on Board?

If you are applying to jobs on Get on Board as a professional, your submission is saved in your Applications dashboard. This is where you track updates and messages for every process.

What you can see after applying

In your Applications list, each job shows:

  • A status badge like Sent or Seen by when the company opens your application.
  • Unread message counts when someone replies.
  • A closed or unpublished indicator if the job is no longer active.

Open any application to read the conversation and see its details. If a company sends you a message or updates your application, you will receive notifications based on your preferences.

What happens on the company side

Companies manage their own hiring stages (screening, interviews, tests) inside their process board. Those internal stages are not visible to you unless the company tells you directly.

If messaging is available, you can send a message from your application.

How long does it take to hear back?

Each company works at its own pace. On the job listing you may see a response time indicator or the Responds quickly label, which reflects recent behavior but does not guarantee a reply to every application.
