What is LinkedIn Limited Listings and how does it work?
LinkedIn Limited Listings lets recruiters post jobs on LinkedIn in a more selective, targeted way.
Get on Board integrates with LinkedIn Limited Listings. When you publish jobs in your Get on Board ATS and add your company LinkedIn page URL, eligible jobs are automatically posted to LinkedIn as Limited Listings (not Premium Listings).
Premium Listings are paid postings designed to reach passive professionals through newsletters, feeds, and “jobs you may be interested in.” Limited Listings are free postings that appear in search results for active job seekers.
How are my jobs published on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn uses the data you set in your job post (location, seniority, and skills) to classify the listing. We send those fields based on your job on Get on Board.
Only unlocked, non-confidential jobs published within the last 3 months are sent to LinkedIn through this integration. The job must have an active unlocked process.
How do I enable LinkedIn Limited Listings?
You need to add your LinkedIn company page URL in Settings > Company info > LinkedIn company link. This is used to generate your LinkedIn Company ID (a numeric code). Jobs are published only when the LinkedIn Company ID is set.
Example:
https://www.linkedin.com/company/get-on-board
If a job does not appear on LinkedIn within a few hours, verify that the URL in your company profile is your LinkedIn company page and that the LinkedIn Company ID is active. The LinkedIn feed refreshes every 4 hours, and LinkedIn may take additional time to process the listing.
LinkedIn may limit postings that do not meet their guidelines. Review their job posting guidelines.
If your jobs comply with LinkedIn Limited Listings policies and your company URL is configured, your jobs show the Published switch on Get on Board and appear on LinkedIn. If you unpublish a job, it will also disappear from LinkedIn listings.
