How does the job review and moderation process work?

This guide explains what happens when a company submits a job on Get on Board and how the review and moderation steps affect publication.

Every job submitted by companies goes through editorial review and moderation before publication. This keeps quality high and builds trust with professionals.

What happens after you submit a job

We review your job to ensure it follows our job moderation policy and seniority policy. Clear, well-written posts are usually approved quickly.

How long review takes

Most jobs are reviewed within minutes or a few hours. Timing depends on:

  • The time of submission (out of office hours takes longer).
  • Writing, spelling, and formatting quality.
  • How well the post aligns with our moderation criteria.
  • The number of jobs you submit at once.
  • Unusual or new roles that require extra checks.

If you create a post using Superpower, Magic Fill can help you write a clearer job, which often speeds up review.

If we need changes

We notify you by email and label the job as Needs changes in your dashboard.

You can hover over the rejection reason to see more details:

If you are unsure how to apply the feedback, reach us via chat or email at info@getonbrd.com.

What happens if you edit a job

You can edit a published job without sending it back to moderation. If your job was rejected and you edit it, it will be resubmitted for review.

If an edited post no longer complies with our policies (for example, by adding contact info), it can be rejected without prior notice.
