What can and can't I edit in a published job?

When you publish a job on Get on Board, you can update most content fields while the process is active—but some fields cannot be changed directly.

What you can edit

  • Job content: responsibilities, requirements, and benefits.
  • Salary range, within form rules.
  • Job title, to clarify the role.
  • Category, indirectly, by adjusting the title or by asking support if the algorithm assigned the wrong one.

What you cannot edit directly

  • The job URL, once the job is created.
  • Tags manually. Tags are generated from your title and requirements.

What to check before saving changes

Before editing, make sure your posting still follows the moderation policy. If the content becomes inconsistent or out of policy, your job may require further adjustments.

If you need to change the role scope in a major way (for example, seniority, responsibilities, or hiring strategy), use the major-changes guide to decide whether to edit, close, or duplicate.
