When you manage applicants in a Get on Board selection process, discard reasons help your recruiting team keep the pipeline organized after deciding not to continue with an application.
The discard reason modal appears when you move an applicant to a Discarded phase, such as dragging the card to the Discarded column on the Kanban board. First choose a category, then select the specific reason that best describes the case.
Applicants do not see the discard reason you select. If you want to notify the applicant, enable the optional email message in the same modal. Get on Board opens a default message that you can edit before sending, and you can also insert a saved reply.
