Talent Database is Get on Board’s sourcing tool for finding tech professionals. You can browse profiles, but contact details are protected and only appear after an unlock.
Not directly. All companies can search and filter professionals in Talent Database and see their profile details, but contact information, social profiles, and the CV are not shown in search results. Unlocks require subscription credits.
You can access contact details in two ways. Both use credits unless the profile is already unlocked:
- Unlock the profile with a credit from your subscription. Once unlocked, you can access their contact details for up to one year and invite them to any open job without spending another credit.
- Invite the professional from Talent Database. Sending a Talent Database invitation automatically creates an unlock (uses a credit), so you can view contact details right away. If the professional has hidden their profile, contact details appear after they accept.
Credits and invitation quotas vary by subscription plan.
How to unlock a profile
- Open a profile from Talent Database search results.
- Click Unlock profile and confirm.
- The contact information becomes available immediately.
Contact details may already be available in these cases:
- The professional has already applied to any of your company’s jobs.
- Your company is whitelisted in a Board+ instance and profiles are pre-unlocked for that board.
Keep in mind that some professionals hide their profiles in Talent Database for privacy reasons. They can also be invited, and after they accept you will see their contact details just like a visible profile.
